The sound of drumming filled the cold night air as the 2017 Tide Of Light festival was held in Worthing, West Sussex on Sunday 5th November. Thousands of people watched as performers, drummers and children took part in the free annual event in the seaside town. The night started off with the award-winning Lantern Parade and finished with a spectacular Firework Display on the beach. The annual light festival is organised by a hard-working team of volunteers and supported by The Lions International Club and local businesses.

NOTHHELM LIVE

Nothhelm broadcast live on Facebook as the Lantern Parade lit up the streets of Worthing. During the broadcast we managed to catch up with the Worthing's official Town Crier, Bob Smytherman who was taking part. He said -

'It's a fantastic evening and great to see so many people enjoying it. Worthing really knows how to put on these amazing events, it's the place to be. Who's needs to go to Lewes to celebrate November the 5th when you have the Tide Of Light here in Worthing.'
